2004 to 2006 (Discovery and Awareness)

Discovery is the name I assigned my first series of 27 acrylic works created from 2004 to 2005. My Discovery series is about me “discovering” my first style and my own voice in my art. Awareness is my series from January 2005 to the end of 2006. Following along the same guidelines as Discovery, my Awareness series is about becoming aware of two prominent changes in my life: my spirituality and identifying myself as an artist. This body of works is about pushing the limits of my art as well as including aspects of my spiritual side in a visual manner.
