Bluebird Designs create unique handcrafted jewelry of a stunning nature here in Truckee. Owner and metalsmith, Jessica Hall, was looking for a eCommerce site to complement her new retail space. Since Jessica is savvy in WordPress and knows her way around the computer, we discussed options that would save her money by having her add much of the content. I worked with her logo and branding she already had created to work it through the site so when visitors came online they would instantly recognize the site as hers. I helped guide her with content and navigation suggestions, as well as through the steps needed to make her site function securely and with her bank. I installed a back-up system, a MailChimp newsletter widget (where fans of hers can sign up for her newsletter), Google Analytics and Webmaster tools, and search engine optimization (SEO) plugins to help her site get seen. After testing and launch, I submitted her to major search engines to further her SEO.
