The beauty of web and web design is that it is very flexible. I have my regular art and design site but wanted to implement a shopping aspect for prints and greeting cards without having to recreate the rest of my site. I found a wonderful theme that integrated the WP Commerce plugin to where I can have a shopping cart and secure payment offsite through PayPal without having to deal with the high fees of onsite credit card processing. I made the greeting card site similar to my originals and web design site so viewers can still feel like they are on my site, even though they migrate off. The end result is an inexpensive way to have an online shop that is easy to manage and update without a large monthly fee. Shop.SaraZimmerman.net
