Tahoe Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapist, Camille Andras, came with me for a need for a logo, branding and web design. As a pediatric occupational therapist, she needed something that would be professional, fun for kids AND memorable. We discussed options for her logo then moved quickly to the fun part: illustration. She wanted some silly Tahoe animals doing goofy things and to have them move when scrolled over. I hand-painted and drew out the animals, scanned them in, then altered them in Photoshop and Illustrator so they could be used in a business card and in her website. Once the layout was ready, I sliced up the images and built it live. To maintain the site's integrity on mobile devices, I opted away from flash. As a means to integrate the site into WordPress, I then created two parts to the site, with the homepage integrating html and css and the subsequent pages using WordPress. I later added keyword rich META to help optimize her site and gave her direction for content. The end result is a fun, silly and memorable website that will leave parents laughing. TahoeOT.com
